Why Health Coaching?
Our physical health is often a reflection
of our inner health the thoughts and beliefs we hold, and emotional patterns
that are present. All physical imbalances exist first in our consciousness
before they show up on the physical level.
This is the essence of the mind/body
connection.
Through
direct intuition, your Health Warrior can discover underlying
factors that
could
help you improve your well-being and/or avoid future physical problems.
Often our everyday physical sensations - such as random pain or
stress
symptoms -
are pointing to mental or emotional dynamics that need closer
attention. Your Health Warrior can help you read the signals from the
physical body and interpret the goldmine of information they provide about
underlying mental and emotional dynamics. She can also intuitively help you
identify and work through mental and emotional blocks to healing, as well as
evaluate limiting attitudes and beliefs regarding your diet and fitness
routine.
Our intention is to promote and support
healing by assisting people with cancer, stroke and other life-altering
illnesses to access their healing potential and their ability to thrive
Many chronic conditions can be improved
by simply changing to healthy lifestyle habits such as exercising, eating
better, managing your stress/anxiety, losing weight and stopping smoking.
Your Health Warrior will help you establish a plan of action to better
manage your chronic condition by enhancing your healthy lifestyle habits.


Health Coaching will help teach you
to manage and reduce stress.
Your Health Warrior will work with you to help understand your thoughts,
perceptions and the events that create stress for you.
Your Health Warrior will encourage your
development of self-observation and self- awareness so that you can learn
about how you respond to events in your life and begin to recognize how you
can best manage your stress level. This will enable you and your coach to
select and implement an array of stress management tools and techniques and
to learn how to incorporate them into your day.
All along the way,
your Health Warrior supports, encourages, challenges and motivates you to
help achieve the stress free balance you desire in life.
If you suffer from a chronic condition and
your physician has suggested that improving your healthy lifestyle habits can
have a positive impact on your situation, then working with your own personal
health coach will help you achieve the healthy lifestyle changes to
significantly impact your ability to control the advancement of your disease.
You and your Health Warrior will
establish a plan of action to better manage your chronic condition by
enhancing your healthy lifestyle habits. You and your Health Warrior will
work together to understand your current lifestyle choices and how they
affect your disease. Following parameters set by your physician, you and
your Health Warrior will identify things that you can and are willing to
change, and create a meaningful and personalized plan of action that creates
success for you.
Your Health Warrior will help you
discover the obstacles to past and present goal achievement. Then you and
your Health Warrior will work together to overcome those obstacles.
Health Warrior's goal is to help you
begin and maintain new healthy behaviours that will improve the quality of
your life. All along the way, your Health Warrior supports, encourages,
challenges and motivates you.
